The Edge of Love October 28, 2007 Angelo is off to London to record the score for The Edge of Love. Unique to the score are a number of original songs, composed by Angelo and director John Maybury. There are a few artists being considered for these songs, including Beth Rowley, Patrick Wolf, Siouxsie Sioux, and Madeline Peyroux. |
Inside Inside October 18 , 2007 Everyone's favorite acting critic/thespian/talk-show host/writer, James Lipton, has released another book related to the hit show Inside the Actors Studio, for which Angelo composed the music. The book documents Angelo's involvement with the show. James is also featured in a short, but wonderful video on Amazon.com. |

The Edge of Love - Spotting September 5, 2007 Director John Maybury and editor Emma Hickox traveled to Angelo's New Jersey studio to spot The Edge of Love. Angelo wowed them by presenting an abundance of original music—synchronized to picture. This project also has presented a unique opportunity on a more personal level. Angelo is working on this score with composer Joe LoDuca (Evil Dead 1&2, Army of Darkness, Xena: Warrior Princess) who has stepped into the role of orchestrator for this project. Angelo and Joe are actually distantly related, having discovered shared family names going back to their roots in Sicily. |
Film Project - The Edge of Love Angelo has agreed to provide the music for the John Maybury film The Edge of Love, starring Keira Knightley, Sienna Miller, Cillian Murphy, and Matthew Rhys. The film, written by Knightley's mother Sharman Macdonald, is about the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, and his often torrid relationships with his childhood sweetheart, Vera Philips (Knightley), and his wife Caitlin (Miller). One of the films producers is an actualy relative of Vera Phillips, Knightley's character and William Killick (Murphy's character). |
